The Present

In detail

Established in the Football League

The last eight years have seen the club firstly re-establish itself in the Football League - or EFL as it has become- and then kick on with another famous promotion party.

Along the way there was been so many memories. 2010 saw the U’s win at the County Ground for the first time since 1973 and then complete the double on a joyous afternoon. There have been new heroes for the United fans- Ryan Clarke, Mark Creighton, James Constable, Alfie Potter, Danny Hylton, Kemar Roofe, Callum O’Dowda…

There have been two further Wembley trips, with defeats against Barnsley and Coventry City failing to take the smiles off the fans for too long, and the U’s sealed promotion under Michael Appleton in 2016, with a record number of away wins also in the bag.
